As a US fighting man, I have taken an Oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. In the same Oath, I promised to obey the orders of the president of the United States. But what happens when the orders of the president conflict with the Constitution?

If my immediate supervisor ordered me to rob a bank, and I did it, I would be jailed. According to the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), that would be considered an unlawful order.

I'm typically not the type to rock the boat, or make waves. But if push came to shove and I had to choose between the Constitution and the president... I pray I would have the strength to disobey the unlawful order.

I am so afraid for This Country in this new year. I Hope it's not too late to undo the Change. God Bless All of You!
