Why Carry a Gun?
My old grandpa said to me ‘Son, there comes a time in every man’s life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps and
usually it’s when he becomes too old to take an butt whoopin.’
I don’t carry a gun to kill people.
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don’t carry a gun to scare people.
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil.
I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.
I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government.
I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry.
I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man.
I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate.
I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don’t carry a gun because I love it.
I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Police protection is an oxymoron.
Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

The plan now is for workers to replace the potentially tainted soil with clean soil that school officials have lined up from other sources. The crews are rushing to complete the work before fall semester starts Sept. 13 for the nearly 700 students enrolled.

Some environmental groups are raising an outcry over the alleged health risks associated with the school's site. School officials say that everything is fine.
"There's no doubt in my mind that the site is safe, and if there are any changes, our monitoring or our existing processes will detect it and we'll react to that," L.A. school system safety chief John Sterritt told the paper. "We really go out of our way to make sure these properties are safe."

Please take the time to read this info - we all need to know this ...I listened to the candidates for the office of governor here in Tennessee last evening and the Sharia law was mentioned as something we do not want here, in America...scary that it is up there in being a subject of debate already!

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.
When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
Here's how it works:
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:
United States Muslim 0.6%
Australia Muslim 1.5%
Canada Muslim 1.9%
China Muslim 1.8%
Italy Muslim 1.5%
Norway Muslim 1.8%
At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Spain Muslim 4%
Thailand Muslim 4.6%
>From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:
Guyana Muslim 10%
India Muslim 13.4%
Israel Muslim 16%
Kenya Muslim 10%
Russia Muslim 15%
After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.
Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.
Well, boys and girls, today we are letting the fox guard the hen house. The wolves will be herding the sheep!
Obama appoints two devout Muslims to Homeland Security posts. Doesn't this make you feel safer already?
Obama and Janet Napolitano appoint Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development.
DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim who was born in Damascus, Syria, as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).
NOTE: Has anyone ever heard a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant...? Just wondering.

That should make the US ' homeland much safer, huh!! Was it not "Devout Muslim men" that flew planes into U.S. buildings 8 years ago?
Was it not a Devout Muslim who killed 13 at Fort Hood ?
Also: This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American? This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:
Theologically no ? Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia
Religiously no ? Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)
Scripturally no ? Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.
Geographically no ? Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially no ? Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews..
Politically no ? Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.
Domestically no ? Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34)
Intellectually no ? Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically no ? Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression..Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually no ? Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore, after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. - - - They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish, it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

There's One Country that Loves America!
Why do we always hear the stories about everyone who hates us.
Have you ever wondered if anyone in Europe remembers America 's sacrifice in World War II? There is an answer in a small town in the Czech Republic . The town called Pilsen ( Plzen )
Every five years Plzen conducts the Liberation Celebration of the City of Pilsen in the Czech Republic . May 6th, 2010 marked the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Pilsen by General George Patton's 3rd Army. Pilsen is the town that every American should visit.
Why? Because they love America and the American Soldier.
Even 65 years later and by the thousands.
The citizens of Pilsen came to say thank you.
Lining the streets of Pilsen for miles.
Large crowds.
To quiet reflective moments.
Including this American family's private time to honor and remember their American hero.
This is the crash site of Lt. Virgil P. Kirkham, the last recorded American USAAF pilot killed in Europe during WWII. It was Lt. Kirkham's 82nd mission and one that he volunteered to go on. At the time this 20 year old pilot's P-47 Thunderbolt plane was shot down, a young 14 year old Czech girl, Zdenka Sladkova, was so moved by his sacrifice she made a vow to care for him and his memory. For 65 straight years , Zdenka, now 79 years old, took on the responsibility to care for Virgil'scrash site and memorial near her home. On May 4th she was recognized by the Mayor of Zdenka's home town of Trhanova , Czech Republic , for her sacrifice and extraordinary effort to honor this American hero.
Another chapter in this important story.....the Czech people are teaching their children about America's sacrifice for their freedom.
American Soldiers, young and old, are the ''Rock Stars'' these children and their parents want autographs from..Yes, Rock Stars! ... As they patiently waited for his autograph, the respect this little Czech boy and his father have for our troops serving today was heartwarming and inspirational.
The Brian LaViolette Foundation will established The Scholarship of Honor in tribute to General George S. Patton and the American Soldier, past and present.
Each year, a different military hero will be honored in tribute to General Patton's memory and their mission to liberate Europe . This award will be presented to a graduating senior who will be entering the military or a form of community service such as fireman, policeman, teaching or nursing, a cause greater than self. The student will be from one of the five high schools in Pilsen , Czech Republic .
The first award will be presented in May 2011 in honor of Lt. Virgil Kirkham, that young 20 year old P-47 pilot killed 65 years ago in the final days of WWII.
Presenting Virgil's award will be someone who knows the true meaning of service and sacrifice -- someone who looks a lot like Virgil.
Marion Kirkham, Virgil's brother, who himself served during WWII in the United States Army - Air Corps.
In closing, here is what the city of Pilsen thinks of General Patton's grandson. George Patton Waters (another Rock Star) we're proud to say, serves on Brian's Foundation board.

dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster;

(2) to provide centralized locations for the pur

poses of training and ensuring the coordination of

Federal, State, and local first responders;

(3) to provide centralized locations to improve
13
the coordination of preparedness, response, and re
14
covery efforts of government, private, and not-for
15
profit entities and faith-based organizations; and
16
(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as deter
17
mined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.

SEC. 3. DESIGNATION OF MILITARY INSTALLATIONS AS NA
19
TIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.

(a) IN GENERAL
.—Not later than 60 days after the
21
date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Home
22
land Security, in consultation with the Secretary of De
23
fense, shall designate not fewer than 6 military installa
24
tions as sites for the establishment of national emergency
25
centers.

(b) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
.—A site designated as

a national emergency center shall be—

(1) capable of meeting for an extended period
4
of time the housing, health, transportation, edu
5
cation, public works, humanitarian and other transi
6
tion needs of a large number of individuals affected
7
by an emergency or major disaster;
8
(2) environmentally safe and shall not pose a
9
health risk to individuals who may use the center;
10
(3) capable of being scaled up or down to ac
11
commodate major disaster preparedness and re
12
sponse drills, operations, and procedures;
13
(4) capable of housing existing permanent
14
structures necessary to meet training and first re
15
sponders coordination requirements during nondis
16
aster periods;
17
(5) capable of hosting the infrastructure nec
18
essary to rapidly adjust to temporary housing, med
19
ical, and humanitarian assistance needs;
20
(6) required to consist of a complete operations
21
command center, including 2 state-of-the art com
22
mand and control centers that will comprise a 24/7
23
operations watch center as follows:

(A) one of the command and control cen
25
ters shall be in full ready mode; and

.—There shall be established not fewer than one na
8
tional emergency center in each of the following areas:

(1) The area consisting of Federal Emergency
10
Management Agency Regions I, II, and III.
11
(2) The area consisting of Federal Emergency
12
Management Agency Region IV.
13
(3) The area consisting of Federal Emergency
14
Management Agency Regions V and VII.
15
(4) The area consisting of Federal Emergency
16
Management Agency Region VI.

(5) The area consisting of Federal Emergency
18
Management Agency Regions VIII and X.

(6) The area consisting of Federal Emergency

Management Agency Region IX.

(d) PREFERENCE FOR DESIGNATION OF C

retary of Defense, shall designate a closed military instal

lation as a site for a national emergency center. If the

Secretaries of Homeland Security and Defense jointly de

termine that there is not a sufficient number of closed
3
military installations that meet the requirements of sub
4
sections (b) and (c), the Secretaries shall jointly designate
5
portions of existing military installations other than closed
6
military installations as national emergency centers.
7
(e) TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF CLOSED M
ILITARY
8
INSTALLATIONS.—If a closed military installation is des
9
ignated as a national emergency center, not later than 180
10
days after the date of designation, the Secretary of De
11
fense shall transfer to the Secretary of Homeland Security
12
administrative jurisdiction over such closed military instal
13
lation.

(f) COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR JOINT U
SE OF
15
EXISTING MILITARY INSTALLATIONS
.—If an existing
16
military installation other than a closed military installa
17
tion is designated as a national emergency center, not
18
later than 180 days after the date of designation, the Sec
19
retary of Homeland Security and the Secretary of Defense
20
shall enter into a cooperative agreement to provide for the
21
establishment of the national emergency center.

(g) REPORTS
.—

(1) PRELIMINARY REPORT
.—Not later than 90
24
days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the
25
Secretary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with

transfer of control of the site from the Sec

retary of Defense to the Secretary of Homeland

Security, if necessary under subsection (e); and

(E) an outline of preliminary plans for en

tering into a cooperative agreement for the es

tablishment of a national emergency center at

the site, if necessary under subsection (f).

(2) UPDATE REPORT
.—Not later than 120 days

after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Sec

retary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with the

Secretary of Defense, shall submit to Congress a re

port that contains for each designated site—

HB 1388 was just passed a couple of days ago. You may say SO WHAT? This bill is $20,000,000 for members of Hamas to come to America. Obama did this behind our backs and it is time for everyone to know.
Now, along with the 9/11 mosque, the time is ripe for those who believe in the FEMA camps. It can start with just a large fight, causing riots, in which the police, National Guard, and his 16,000 men army can call in martial law. 2 bills in which I found rather interesting are HR 645 and one that goes with it is called the Stafford Act. Find out what our government has instore for us. If you can handle that, look up the "Civilian Inmate Labor Program r210_35"

I don't know how many of you live here in CA, but if you do, you will already understand what I am going to write about.
We have 2 "Republicans" running for governor. This seat is almost akin to the presidency in the scope of the business industry, our produce and manufacturing, etc, etc. Well, the 2 so-called republicans are so far left that there are no jokes. My main belief for voting is this "No Vote, No Voice!" One of the canidates is a woman named Meg Whitman. This woman, who is running for governor, has NOT voted for 28 years! Does she have a chance here? Well according to the National Rebulican committee and the GOP, they want us to vote for her!
Then on the flip side of the coin, we have Steve Poizner who has at least held office, but is part of the financial problems in the state's insurance part. But, unlike Whitman, he is against amnisty.
So who do we vote for? Whitman is another Arnold, Poizner is another Obama (without the socialism). Lord only knows that niether of them believe in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, or anything else that made this country great. (Neither likes the 2nd Amendment either!)
In my heart, I know that I cannot vote for either, so my husband and I just wrote in a name. Mabey that's what we all should do.

I just found out that the muslims are putting up a 13 story mosque. Nothing really new, except for one thing. It is just across from Ground Zero. It is to be dedicated on 9/11/11. There are over 15 million sites covering this story, except the liberal biased media. Check it out for yourselves!!!!
